GlobalServe and HP Partnering to Provide Cisco Equipment to WPP

Valhalla, New York -- July 01, 2008 -- GlobalServe, Inc. announced today that it will partner with HP to provide Cisco networking equipment to WPP Group through the GlobalServe OneSource Procurement Solution which offers globally-engaged organizations a single point of product and service control for multi-vendor IT infrastructure. London-based WPP, one of the world's largest marketing services company, has been a GlobalServe client since 2004.

After WPP and Cisco agreed upon global price points, WPP stipulated that it would continue to implement enterprise-wide standards and controls by having the Cisco purchases flow through OneSource. In this arrangement, WPP will gain the advantage of global pricing while benefiting from the simplified purchasing procedures and company-wide uniformity and accountability that OneSource already provides WPP in the procurement of desktop and laptop computers. HP will have local responsibility for overseeing acquisition, deployment operation and service.
