Answering the Demand

Valhalla, New York October 11, 2004: Today, GlobalServe announced the release of an improved User Interface for its proprietary technology, GlobalServe OneSource, specifically targeted towards GlobalServe's Procurement and Provisioning offering which OneSource supports. The new enhancements were designed to improve and simplify the entire ordering experience. OneSource is an integrated web based solution, which supports all steps across the IT asset lifecycle, including requisition, procurement, deployment, service management and retirement. The OneSource system is linked to a contracted supply chain of local product supply and service agents in over 200 countries.

The recent Innovations are intuitive, making it easier to use for novice users, and optimizes access to the advanced functions. These enhancements include: Improved screen layout for expedited order placement; improved search functionality and the addition of a Favorites function, that allows users to maintain a list of commonly purchased items just to name a few. For the past year we have interacted daily with OneSource procurement users around the world, said Steve Ward, CTO at GlobalServe. OneSource's latest enhancements are a direct result of their inspiration and input.

The OneSource system offers a global catalog customized for each of its customers. OneSource users can select from a pre-approved catalog within a multi-vendor environment all their IT asset needs, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, routers, switches, and associated peripherals. The user simply enters in the quantity and upon submission the order is routed to the appropriate GlobalServe Solution Provide in their local country. Some of the key features of OneSource Procurement and Provisioning solution, include:

* Global standard Parts and Pricing - Global Catalog reflecting customer's global IT standards and pricing in any currency.

* Bundles standards - Catalog can be set up to reflect IT user communities approved bundles with optional and required accessories capabilities.

* Order tracking - The complete order path including estimated time of arrival can be tracked for every order in every location in the world

* Reporting - Every aspect of IT spend can be reported on by user, office, city, country, manufacturer, asset typed, amount and time.

The GlobalServe solution includes; helpdesk, problem management, service level management, contract management, call dispatch and over-the-shoulder assistance for remote management of a customer's distributed IT environment. Customers use GlobalServe's integrated OneSource solution to submit service trouble tickets via the web. The OneSource system automatically assigns the service request to the appropriate GlobalServe Solution Provider based on the customer, product, problem definition, severity, and technician availability. OneSource will manage the workflow of a given process for consistent and effective service execution. Workflow is tailored to each Customer's unique requirements and their specific service levels.

This allows OneSource to:

* Automate work flow management
* Automate communications
* Automate task allocation
* Automate escalation
* Manage SLAs in real time

As part of this release, GlobalServe has introduced a new Reports Wizard. This Reports Wizard allows users to create their own custom reports, which they can use in addition to the stock reports, which are regularly available via OneSource. The users now have the ability to customize their reports based on a broad range of criteria. The user can save all Custom Reports on an ongoing basis. Users can also define whether their Custom Report is only available to themselves or made available to other authorized individuals within their organization.

Extensive customer involvement and feedback during the development of OneSource has made OneSource extremely robust, reliable and scalable. GlobalServe worked closely with its Customers and understood their needs, continued Ward.
