OneSource Methodology: Supply Chain

The final of the 4 elements within the OneSource methodology is the Supply Chain. GlobalServe’s genesis was a consortium of large regional VARs, that eventually spun off into what we today know of as GlobalServe. These beining were essential in giving GlobalServe the business challenge of solving procurement and service management requirements for large global entities, managed and governed centrally. This meant the development of a tightly integrated supply chain, or as we in GlobalServe like to call it the GSP network.

The GlobalServe Solution Provider or GSP network is a contracted and on-boarded collection of over 300 Value Added Resellers and Service Providers in more than 150 countries around the world. Nearly 80% of all transaction that flow through OneSource onto this GSP Network is e-connected also know as e-bonded.

Our approach

Through an exhaustive accreditation, vetting and scoring process GlobalServe select, contracts on-boards and e-connects to its in-country GSP partner. The result is the availability for customers of a tightly managed and operated service and procurement organization. Most supply chain on-boarding processes are driven in phases, with the customer aligning its buyers, catalogs, service levels, escalation processes, all in-line with their requirements. Quarterly reports provide in-depth intelligence on key performance metrics. In many instances our customers will request integration of an existing supplier into the overall supply chain, thereby enabling our customers to pick and choose the supply chain they want.
