Central to the OneSource Methodology is the OneSource Technology platform. The OneSource Technology platform is fundamentally a transaction and knowledge engine for procurement and service management transactions. At GlobalServe’s inception the need to fulfill transactions while capturing their metrics was central to providing the fundamental value proposition of visibility. The premise has always been and remains that with visibility comes knowledge, and with knowledge comes informed decision making. Therefore the challenge that lay before GlobalServe was to capture all transactions no matter how varied and seemingly insignificant into a central transaction engine. From this business requirement came the OneSource platform. Over the years a simple procurement system evolved into the industry’s leading service and procurement management engine, encompassing among other areas: content and catalog management, workflows and SLAs, RBAC based controls, purchasing and invoicing, domestic and global buyer catalogs, service management, vendor metrics, control and management, and finally enterprise reporting, dashboards and business intelligence.

Our approach

GlobalServe’s OneSource Technology platform is available as a managed service bundled in with the overall OneSource Methodology where organizations require GlobalServe to manage their supply chain. OneSource is also available as a SAAS, ideally suited for organizations looking to leverage the technology base to manage an existing supply chain community already on-boarded by the customer. In many instances GlobalServe finds itself delivering a hybrid model where elements of the managed service and the SAAS model are utilized in a customized solution for the customer. The OneSource platform is developed with an open API interface (EDI, cXML, OCI, flat-files), allowing for easy integration with existing ERP systems.
